An online perler bead pattern tool: turn a photo into a grid with real brand color codes, edit it in the browser, and export a PNG or A4 print set.
Pindou Art is an online perler bead pattern tool. Import a photo or pixel art file and it maps every cell to the palette of the brand you pick, labelled with the code printed on the bead bag. You can also start from a blank canvas, then export an image or print it. Choosing the source, matching colors, editing and tracking assembly all happen on one page, with no software to install.
Why we built it
Bead projects usually stall at the same step: a photo has to become a grid you can actually follow, which means settling the grid size, the color codes and the bead counts first. Doing that in a general image editor means building a grid by hand, picking colors cell by cell and then matching each color to a bead bag. On a mid-sized pattern that eats an afternoon.
We put that pipeline on one page: the image is quantized to a bead palette, cell size and color count stay adjustable, and every cell shows the code for the selected brand. When hands-on fixes are needed, brush, fill, selection, move and copy all work on the same canvas. The tool handles mechanical color matching and counting; the creative calls stay with you.
Brands and color codes
The palette holds 291 color values across 9 brands. The count below is how many of those colors each brand can match; the code column shows how the value is printed on the bead bag.

Color values are sampled from physical beads. Pearlescent, glitter, transparent and glow beads shift a lot with lighting, so screen previews will differ from the beads in hand. Check the brand swatch card and bead bag before ordering.

Data and privacy
Pixelation, color matching and dithering all run in the browser with Canvas, so the original image is never uploaded to a server. Grid data, title and tags are written to your account only when you are signed in and save a pattern yourself.
Assembly Mode keeps its checkmarks in local browser storage, so switching devices or clearing site data starts it over. How account data, subscriptions and access logs are handled is documented in the privacy policy; we do not sell personal information.

You keep the copyright to patterns you publish here. When publishing you declare the pattern as original, derivative or repost, and pick a Creative Commons (CC) license; that choice decides whether others may use it commercially or modify it.

What does Pindou Art do?
It is an online perler bead pattern tool: upload a photo and it becomes a grid with a color code per cell, or draw from a blank canvas, then export a PNG or print it as A4 pages.
Do I have to pay to use it?
No. The free plan includes the full editor, a 300×300 canvas and 20 cloud patterns. Pro raises the canvas to 500×500, cloud storage to 500 patterns, and adds watermark-free export and tiled export for large patterns.
Which bead brands are covered?
All 9 brands are covered — MARD, COCO, 漫漫, 盼盼, 咪小窝, Perler, Hama, Artkal and Nabbi — with 291 color values in total. Each cell is labelled with the code printed on that brand's bead bag.
Are uploaded photos stored?
No. Conversion happens locally in the browser and the image never reaches a server; grid data enters your account only when you save a pattern yourself.
Does assembly progress sync across devices?
No. Assembly checkmarks live in local browser storage, so they are lost when you switch devices or clear site data. Avoid clearing browser data before you finish.
Who owns the copyright of a pattern I publish?
You do. Choose original, derivative or repost and set a CC license when publishing. If you believe content here infringes your rights, email us proof of ownership and we will take it down.
The color codes don't match my beads — what now?
Check the screen first: the same image varies a lot between displays. Beyond that, metallic, glitter and transparent beads are hard to match exactly; values come from physical samples, so trust the beads in your hand. If the gap is large, report it from the pattern page.
How do I report a wrong pattern or color code?
Use the feedback link in the footer, or email contact@pindou.art with the pattern link, code and problem; after checking we fix the palette or take the pattern down.
How does the site make money, and does that cut free features?
From Pro subscriptions, sponsor memberships and page ads. Free features — the editor, photo conversion, PNG export — are not reduced when you don't pay, and ads never appear inside the editor canvas.
